Request information
If you can't find the information you need on our website, then you can make a request in one of the following ways.
Freedom of Information Act
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) gives you the right to access information held by public authorities. The Government calls this the 'right to know' and is about increasing accountability and transparency in the decisions we make and in the services we provide.
Some exemptions may apply and if we need to apply any of these we will explain what they are and why we are using them.

Environmental Information Regulations (EIR)
The Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR) provides you with a right of access to environmental information held by public authorities. This will encourage greater awareness of issues that affect the environment, helping to increase public participation in decision-making and making public bodies more accountable and transparent.

Incident Reports
Incident reports are available for most incidents we attend. Details of some incidents may be found within the incidents section of our website.
Reports contain information about the call timings, other details about ignition and the most likely cause along with area of damage so are of most use for fires. You can request a copy of a report but this may be subject to a standard charge.
