The Ride Safe training days will take place at fire stations across Cumbria this summer and are aimed at licensed motorcyclists.

Led by advanced riders and medical professionals, the sessions will cover theory including:

  • Safety and scene management
  • Basic first aid and common biker injuries
  • Overview of Cumbria Road Safety Partnership
  • Advanced rider techniques
  • Rider vulnerabilities

The theory section will be followed by a practical, group-led ride out with instructors joining and taking up strategic positions to encourage and identify safer rider styles and strategies.
