Performance Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service’s Performance team, providing expert advice and support to service leadership, as a part of our Assurance and Performance Directorate. This is a brilliant time to consider joining CFRS, as we continue to develop our corporate functions following a period of significant change, moving to the governance of the Police, Fire, and Crime Commissioner.

The individual we are looking for to join our professional and experienced team will be an excellent communicator, proactive, methodical, and have an excellent understanding of Performance reporting/monitoring and data assurance. This role will support with the implementation of critical new systems for CFRS as part of our significant programme to disaggregate from legacy systems and arrangements. In particular this role will play a key role with the data migration, data assurance and development of reporting as part of the project team.

We are looking for someone who has considerable knowledge of performance, and the ability to influence, discuss, and advise a range of audiences on key information. You will be able to demonstrate experience in sourcing and interpreting large volumes of data, as well as collating data into high quality information for managers.
